Mount Annan Christian College has a reputation for its strong academic program. Each student’s learning experience is rich, challenging and promotes their intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual growth.

Mount Annan Christian College will be offering Academic Scholarships to students entering Years 7, 9 and 11 in 2024.

 The 2020 HSC saw Mount Annan Christian College continue to finish with strong academic results, these outstanding results continue to build on the wonderful progression of the College over the last five years. A few of the highlights include:

  • Two students were named in the Top Achiever’s list for placing 2nd in the State in Design and Technology and 4th in the State in  Korean Continuers.
  • 75% of students received Early or Selective entry into University courses.
  • 29% of students were recognised as Distinguished Achievers. 
  • Five students were nominated for Shape and Art Express Exhibitions, (an annual exhibition of a selection of exemplary Major Projects). One student was selected for inclusion into SHAPE, the HSC Design and Technology Showcase. 

These excellent results build on the College’s continued success. At the release of the 2019 HSC results, the Sydney Morning Herald recognised Mount Annan Christian College as one of the most improved schools between 2016 and 2019:  “Other schools showing consistent improvement from 2016 to this year include Mount Annan Christian College, Springwood High School and St Mark’s Coptic Orthodox College” The Sydney Morning Herald, December 17, 2019.

Many of our students gained Selective or Early Entry into University based on their Preliminary and Trial HSC results alone, even before they sat the HSC exams. This desire to achieve at the highest level and to strive for tremendous levels of effort coincides with our Core Values of Lifelong Learning as well as Discipline and Diligence.
