Our Heritage

Our history

Mount Annan Christian College was founded as a ministry of C3 New Hope on February 12th, 1999. The College was birthed out of a vision to establish a leading Prep to Year 12 school in the heart of the Macarthur region.

During that time we have had three long standing Headmasters leading the remarkable journey that is MACC. In 2026, we are excited to welcome Mr Ian Liney as our fourth Headmaster.

MACC’s Christian ethos, delivered through its vibrant and motivated staff, makes the College a leading educational facility in the Macarthur region. Situated within the fastest growing region of Sydney, MACC is perfectly located for growth within the area.

A message from our C3 New Hope Pastors

At Mount Annan Christian College’s opening in 1999, founding Pastors, Adrian and Kathy Gray, saw the fulfilment of a dream to establish a Christian school in the Macarthur Region that would honour God and serve the local community.

Since that time, it has been an incredible blessing to see our College grow and thrive and seek to empower each student to reach their potential in all aspects of their lives.

As the current Lead Pastors, we continue in the same hope – that each person within our College community would experience the love and goodness of God and from that, go on to live a life rich in purpose.

C3 New Hope is privileged to faithfully pray for, believe in and oversee our College and journey together with staff and families in support of students as they learn, explore and develop their own unique gifts and talents.

We believe in future generations and in the future of our wonderful school!

Statement of faith

The foundation of our theology is built on the following Biblical truths. We believe:
  • There is one God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
  • In the deity of Jesus Christ the Son of God; we believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His victorious and atoning death, in His resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His constant intercession and in His imminent return.
  • In the Church being the body of Christ, and each member being an active part, fulfilling the Great Commission.
  • The Bible is the living word of God – infallible, authoritative and everlasting, and the foundation of all Christian doctrine.
  • In the existence of an evil spiritual being – the devil.
  • In the spiritually lost condition of all people and the essential need for ‘salvation’ by faith in Jesus Christ.
  • In baptism by full immersion in water for all believers.
  • In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift available to all believers, with the normal evidence of speaking in other tongues.
  • In the sacraments of the Lord’s Supper through the practice of communion.
  • In the power of the gospel and its ability to transform the lives of all.
