Music Tuition
Mount Annan Christian College offers an Instrumental Music Tuition Program.
The program enables students from Kindergarten to Year 12 to learn a musical instrument of their choice, from specialist tutors who have extensive experience in various instruments. Students are encouraged to enrol in the Music Tuition Program from the earliest of years.
Band Program
Mount Annan Christian College offers an Band Program.
The program enables students from Years 4 to Year 7 (with scope for extension into further grades) to learn under Bandmaster Mr Adrian Munn. The instruments on offer are trumpet, clarinet, trombone, flute and alto saxophones.
Band students will have two tuition sessions throughout the school week and will also be required to attend Band Rehearsals one morning a week before school.
Music Ensembles
There are a number of opportunities for students to be involved in valuable extracurricular activities at MACC.
There are also regular performance opportunities including special assemblies, chapel services, college events, Camden Show, The Works evening, Showcases and the annual Christmas Concert.
Our College Chapel Band rehearses weekly and plays contemporary worship music for our Chapel services.
Our Kindergarten Choir, Primary Performance Choir and Secondary Choir performs at various College functions and community events.
Productions
Each year the students work together to present a large-scale production.
In 2017 MACC competed in the largest Song-Dance Festival in Australia- Wakakirri. This is a national competition where each school presents 7 minute story told through dance, drama, music and singing. MACC placed first in the NSW Newcomers Division. This was an incredible achievement by the students and staff involved.

In 2016 MACC presented High School Musical at the Campbelltown Town Hall Theatre. It was a fabulous musical and the staff and students worked hard to present a high quality production.
